My biggest takeaway wasn't in the pages of the book at all
I started the Artist’s Way last week. In some ways it feels like a cliche to be doing it because I see posts about it often on social media, but I didn’t want to let that stop me!
The one thing that was my ‘non-negotiable’ was to be flexible with the process. I have seen SO MANY people post about how they’d restarted the Artist’s Way 3-4 times and never made it all the way through and I’m really trying to be better at sticking to things.
To that end, I knew I had to tackle this differently to how I’ve tackled things in the past.
Week one is about recovering a sense of safety and to be honest… I struggled to connect with that as a topic, so let’s talk about perfectionism first instead.
